Barkers exhaust for Polaris Sportsman will add horsepower by just bolting it on, but this machine really benefits from tuning. Without adding the fuel controller to get the proper Air/Fuel Ratio the system does run lean, but with proper tuning, you’ll easily see and feel the 5 horsepower gain. We highly recommend the EHS fuel controller that is pre mapped specifically for the sportsman machines coupled with the slip-on exhaust. The EHS controller has a few different settings built into it for the different versions of the Sportsman’s. The High Lifter Edition has quite a different fuel map than the standard version. Both maps are built into the EHS fuel controller so make sure you read the instructions properly, selecting the settings that fit your specific machine.
